To be honest rails should be a pretty easy fix. Blasters on the other hand are probably a bit more tricky as in themselves they are not so bad but suffer from being fitted mainly to slow ass ships and applying damage can be a huge issue.

My view is against jet can mining in open space. If you mix mining and mission running a good idea if to jet can mine the ore you sometimes find in them. Its not 100% safe as you can still be scanned down. however it is many times safer.
